Shahar Amitai

Director of Tzofim Tzabar - West Coast

Shahar was born in Holon, a city southern to Tel-Aviv, in Israel.

During her IDF service she served as a Lieutenant at “the Deputy Advisor to the Chief of the General Staff on Gender Issues” helped integrate women and transgender citizens into the IDF, and Helping women and men victims of sexual assault in the IDF.

 

She received her BA in fashion design from “SHENKAR” in 2019. Shahar was a member of the “Tzofim Friendship Caravan” in 2010, and spent a summer in the “Mishlachat” (delegation) at JCA Shalom camp in Malibu.

 

Before moving to Los Angeles with her husband Bar, Shahar worked for the Israel Scouts for ten years, in several roles, the last of them, she worked as the Deputy Director of Tel Aviv-Yafo region.
