Our Story

With deep roots as far as the 1960s, when the first Tzofim (Israeli Scouts) delegates joined North American summer camps, through the creation of Tzofim chapters in the late 70s, Tzofim North America inspires young American Zionists to connect with their Jewish identity and the state of Israel.

 

Founded in 1995 as Friends of Israel Scouts, and later as part of the global Tzofim Olami Organization, Tzofim North America has grown significantly over the last 30 years, impacting thousands of lives.

Tzofim provides a supportive and inclusive environment for Jewish youth to learn, grow, and develop important life skills.
