14 ימים של כיף במחנה לינת קיץ המיועד לילדים דוברי עברית, כאן בארה"ב. המטרה שלנו: מחנה ביחד יהווה חווית קיץ משמעותית מהנה ומעשירה. מקום לחיזוק העברית, החיבור לישראל והזהות היהודית-ישראלית
Machane B’Yachad (Camp Together) is an initiative of Friends of Israeli Scouts - Tzofim and New Jersey Y camps. Machane B'Yachad is 14 days of fun in an overnight summer camp designed for Hebrew-speaking children, here in the U.S.
Our goal: Machane B’Yachad will be a profound, meaningful and enriching summer camp. A place to strengthen Hebrew skills, connect to Israel and the Jewish-Israeli identity.

Accepted Answer

Prices and registration:
Early-Early bird discount price until October 31st, 2024: $2,475*
Early bird discount price November 1st, 2024 until January 31st, 2025: $2,575*
Standard price from February 1st, 2025: $2,850*
 
Cancellation policy:
$750 deposit required to register
100% refundable through January 31st, 2025
$250 registration fee non refundable for cancellations February 1st- April 30th , 2025
$750 deposit non refundable after May 1st, 2025
From June 1st, 2025, all refunds are at the discretion of the agency.

*Any discounts, including the One Happy Camper grant, are included within these prices.

מדיניות ביטול והחזרים:
$750 דמי פיקדון במעמד הרישום. 
עד 31 בינואר, 2025: החזר כספי מלא
החל מ- 1 בפברואר עד 30 באפריל, 2025: החזר כספי מלבד דמי ביטול $250 שלא יוחזרו.
החל מ- 1 במאי, 2025: החזר כספי מלבד דמי פיקדון $750 שלא יוחזרו.
החל מ- 1 ביוני, 2025 כל ההחזרים נתונים להחלטת המחנה.

Who can attend camp? / ?למי מיועד המחנה

המחנה מיועד לילדי ישראלים ויהודים המתגוררים בצפון אמריקה דוברי עברית בסיסית ומעלה שעולים בשנה הבאה לכיתות ד' עד לכיתות ט'.
אנו מבקשים שלא לרשום ילדים ללא הבנה בעברית אלא רק עם הבנה בסיסית של השפה. מטרתנו היא לשפר את העברית באמצעות פעילות ייחודית ולא ללמד מאפס.
Our camp is designed for Israelis and Jewish American children who live in North America and have at least a basic understanding of Hebrew.
Campers must be entering grades 4-9 this fall.

Who are the camp staff? / ?מיהם אנשי הצוות

צוות המחנה בנוי בעיקר על בוגרי תנועת הצופים שיעבירו את מרבית התכנים הייחודיים של המחנה. קבוצת חניכים לנה בבקתה, בנים לחוד ובנות לחוד. עימם ישנים צוות של 2-3 מדריכים כך שקיימת השגחה של 24 שעות על הילדים בכל זמן במחנה.
Our staff is comprised of Tzofim alumni. Every cabin will be assigned with 2-3 instructors, so children will have 24/7 supervision. Boys and girls sleep in separate cabins.

המטרה שלנו היא להעניק חוויה ישראלית אמיתית בעברית, כאן בארה"ב. חוויה שתשפר את העברית, לא באמצעות שיעורים משעממים אלא באמצעות פעולות, הדרכה בעברית וחברים דוברי עברית.
הפעילות האישית מאוד מגוונת: ישנם עשרות חוגים לבחור מהם מצלילה ועד קשתות, מכדורסל ועד מחול – יש כאן כל מה שילד/ה רוצה, ויותר. הצוות שלנו מוסיף פעולות כמו הדרכות על תרבות ישראלית, חיבור למושגים ישראלים, שורשיות יהודית-ישראלית באמצעות פעילות קבוצתית ופעילות לכלל המחנה כמו מחנאות, יום ספורט, לינת שטח, בניית רפסודות וכו'. הכל על ידי מדריכים מנוסים בהנחיית תנועת הצופים.
למרות שאנו מרוחקים שעתיים נסיעה ממנהטן, התוכנית שלנו היא תעניק אתה הרגשה שמחנה הקיץ נמצא בכלל בישראל.
Our goal is to provide a true Israeli experience in Hebrew, here in the US. Our camp experience that will improve Hebrew speaking ability, not through classes, but with activities, Hebrew guidance, and Hebrew speaking friends.
The elective activities are diverse. Dozens of classes from scuba-diving to archery, basketball to dance – we offer exactly what the child wants, and more. Our staff adds activities about Israel, Israeli culture, connection to Israeli terms, connecting to Jewish-Israeli roots and more for groups of children. The entire Machane B’Yachad will set-up night camp, have sports competition day, sailing and more.
Although we are only two hours’ drive from Manhattan, our program is designed will fill like the camp is in Israel.

After initial registration and payment, during March we will contact you to receive your child's medical insurance and medical approval that they can attend camp. In addition, we will ask for friend requests for bunk assignments, and any special requests.
