Isaac (Ike) Blachor

Secretary of the board of directors

Isaac (Ike) Blachor is an accomplished attorney and dedicated community leader with decades of service in both the legal and nonprofit sectors. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the Nassau County Bar Association. Ike is a past President of the Jewish Lawyers Association of Nassau County and has served in key leadership roles, including Chair of the Committee on

Professional Ethics for the Nassau County Bar, and a member of the New York State Bar Committee on Professional Responsibility.

 

For the past 18 months, he has served as a judge in the Zionist tribunal leading up to the 39th World Zionist Congress. For more than four decades, Ike has been one of the national leaders of the JNF-USA, serving as the national secretary for a decade and as JNF Vice President for Israel Relations, during which time he helped found the Chalutzah communities of B’nei Netzarim, Naveh, and Shlomit in the northern Negev of Israel.

A passionate advocate for Israel and Jewish education, Ike has long combined his professional expertise with civic engagement. He is a past Chair of the Long Island Cabinet for State of Israel Bonds and the founder of the Holocaust Memorial and Educational Center of Nassau County.

 

As the founding legal counsel of Tzofim North America and its longtime National Secretary, Ike has helped guide the organization’s growth and governance. He continues to ensure Tzofim North America operates with integrity and transparency, aligning with the standards of the Philanthropic Advisory Council of the Better Business Bureau.
