IN MEMORIAM

A 70 year veteran of scouting, Shelly served as Chairman of the National Jewish Committee on Scouting, was the recipient of the Silver Bear, Silver Antelope, Distinguished Eagle, and Shofar awards. In addition, Shelly staffed 10 National and 10 World Jamborees with the scouts, and was active with the Friends of Israel Scouts since its inception 40 years ago. He hosted Friendship Caravan delegations for 22 years, first while living in New York, and continued after retiring to Delray Beach, FL 18 years ago.

We lost Shelly in October 2014 - a tragedy for the Friends of Israel Scouts, and the Jewish people.
