Aviad Levy-Yair brings a background in education, technology, and community leadership to Tzofim Olami. Originally from Kiryat Ekron, Israel, Aviad grew up in HaNoar HaOved VeHaLomed, where he later completed a year of service and joined a Nahal group. He holds a degree in computer science education and began his professional career as a software developer.

Following October 7, Aviad chose to return to the field of education. Most recently, he lived in Vancouver, Canada, where he served as an emissary for the Jewish Agency and worked in informal education and community program leadership.

Aviad is excited to bring his experience in education, community building, and technology to his role at Tzofim Olami.

Outside of work, Aviad enjoys spending time with his wife, Shir, their Shih Tzu, Charlie, family and friends. In the winter, you’ll likely find him skiing, and in the summer, returning to the mountains for hiking and climbing.
