Sophie was born and raised in Bat Yam, Israel. During her time in the army she was a Gadna youth instructor before working as a conference director at Keren Yeda, Foundation of the Histadrut Organization. After moving to the states with her family, she worked as a Consul Assistant at the Israeli Consulate in New York. 

Sophie has two adorable kids, Roni and Guy, with her husband Lior. In her free time, she loves to run outdoors, attend book clubs with her friends, and spend time with her family.
