Eran was born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel, where he was a scout of Shevet Zabar.

When completed his service in the IDF as a Staff Sergeant, Eran worked for Isreal channel 1 and for several news websites. After journalism school, he spent almost 20 years as a writer and on air presenter on different TV channels worldwide.

After moving with his wife and son to the US, Eran worked as a Hebrew and israeli history teacher in brooklyn, NY.
