Efrat Lichtman is the Executive Director of ‘Friends of Israel Scouts – Tzofim’ in North America, as a Shelicha of the Tzofim and the Jewish Agency for Israel. Efrat holds an honor Bachelor Degree in Psychology and a Master Degree in Diplomacy and Negotiations from Tel-Aviv University.

Efrat served as the Director of Partnerships and Resource Development in Matzmichim – The Israeli Violence Reduction Organization. During her stay in Vienna as an Israeli emissary, she was the Director of the Israeli school in the city and wrote articles on parenting during relocation. In the framework of the Branco-Weiss Education Institute, she gained a wealth of experience as a manager of educational programs, leading and training school principals on pedagogical leadership and educational excellence.

Efrat is a senior trainer and certified group facilitator of the MICHAEL method - Maximizing Individual potential to attain excellence.

During her Military Service Efrat served as an Officer Commander in Medics course.

 

Efrat is married to Roei and they have three children.
