Meet Beth

Beth Lebenson Praver

Director of Development

Beth Lebenson Praver is the Director of Development for the Friends of Israel Scouts - Tzofim, in North America.

Beth holds a Bachelor's Degree in Jewish and Near Eastern Studies from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology from the John Jay School of Criminal Justice. She is also a Certified State Social Worker. Beth's professional background has been long and varied previous to joining the Scouts. She worked as a newspaper reporter for The New York Times Regional Newspaper Group, the media affairs office of the Israeli Consulate in New York, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, and most recently at Eden Village Camp, where she was the Director of Parent Engagement and Development. Beth lived in Israel for many years as well. Currently, Beth lives in Connecticut with her husband, Dr. Rabbi Shaul Praver, and their three children.
